Golf fans from around the world will spend a great deal of money on hotels, flights, and other extras to witness the Masters. Luckily, the food prices at Augusta do not continue to aggressively dig into viewers’ pockets.
A 60 year tradition, the pimiento cheese sandwich is sold for the low price of $1.50. Originally sold for $0.25, the sandwiches are an Augusta staple for this time of the year.
The $1.50 egg salad sandwich, $1.50 chips, and $3 chicken sandwich are just some of the other offerings that come along with the pimiento cheese sandwich. Alcoholic beverages have been reported to cost only $6, which is a very low price in comparison to other sporting events.

At an MLB game, the average price was $7.18, at an NFL game the average price was $10.75, at an NBA game the average price was $12.57, and at an NHL game the average price was $7.34. The alcohol from the Masters is clearly the cheapest, coming in at $1.18 less than the cheapest option and $6.57 less than the most expensive option. When spending $12.57 on a beer at a basketball game, one could buy two beers at Augusta.
