About JSEJ

The Junior Sports Economics Journal (JSEJ) is a student-led platform where the world behind the field, court, or pitch is explored.

As the world increasingly relies on technology, there has been an influx of use of data in sports. As modern sports has begun to rely on numbers instead of evaluating only “the good face”, the real game has become evaluating contracts and allocating money under limited caps. JSEJ is dedicated to exploring the intersection of athletic performance, front-offices strategy, and market dynamics.

A team of high-school writers

JSEJ is made up entirely of high school writers who have a passion for sports and/or economics related fields. Our student-led approach allows us to see through an innovative lens, breaking through for the next generation of sports leaders.
